Why You’ll Love this Skeletal Printable
- Printing this anatomy chart in a large format makes it easier to engage students and promote hands-on learning. If you have kids that are still learning to read, a large print will make that process easier when learning about the skeletal system.
- Instead of buying large skeletal system poster, you can print this one for free. Great for parents and teachers that are on a budget!
- Reuse this over and over again for as many lessons and discussions as needed. It’s especially easy to make durable if you laminate it. There are so many great ways to use this extra large poster!

Supplies Needed
- Printer – You do not have to have a giant, industrial printer to print this poster. I’ve divided it up so that the entirety of the poster prints on 20 pages of normal, letter size paper.
- Tape – Grab some tape so that you can easily secure each of the pages together. I like to use packing tape since it’s wider and I can just lay a strip of tape down and attach multiple pages all at once.
- Optional, laminator – Lamination is the easiest way to make this giant poster really durable. You can laminate one page at a time and then attach them all together. Or, you can use a large laminator and send all of the pages through together to make the poster seamless!

Tips for Using this Fun Poster!
- Make labels for the different bones! You can type them up and then cut out in separate strips of paper. Add a glue dot or some tape and have your students match the labels to the poster.
- If you laminate your poster, you can use dry erase markers on it. Mark the poster with different words, circle things you’re teaching about, and generally make notes that will be helpful during your lesson!
- Have your students point to the bones and then point to it on their bodies! Whether it’s their skull, knee, hip or wrist, these small connections can make a big difference in the learning process.

Making learning exciting is the best part about teaching! I hope this poster printable is beneficial and useful to you and your kiddos.
