- Paper – Use plain white copy paper to print these on. You can print on something more sturdy, like white cardstock, if you prefer.

On average, color by number worksheets lie these are great for children from ages 4 to 8 years old. However, some children are more advanced than others and are able to recognize color as and numbers a bit earlier than age four.
If they’re showing interest and want to color the page, then go for it! The sooner those fine motor skills can be developed, the better. As children get older, you can begin to give them more complicated color by number code sheets that are more difficult pictures and numbers.
