Color by number sheets are by far one of my favorite time filling activities. These free Spring color by number sheets are just the cutest! All you have to do is download the pdf file and print off as many pages as you’d like. Then grab your coloring supplies and get to coloring. You can spring themed worksheets into a wonderful work of art.

It’s no doubt that spring time brings rain, right? April showers bring May flowers! So, some days you’re gong to need easy crafts and activities to keep those kiddos entertained inside. A Spring color by number worksheet is just the thing! Pair your coloring time with a tasty snack like monster energy balls or flower pretzels for the most entertaining and fun day inside.   • Paper – Use plain white copy paper to print these on. You can print on something more sturdy, like white cardstock, if you prefer.

How old should kids be to do color by number?

On average, color by number worksheets lie these are great for children from ages 4 to 8 years old. However, some children are more advanced than others and are able to recognize color as and numbers a bit earlier than age four.

If they’re showing interest and want to color the page, then go for it! The sooner those fine motor skills can be developed, the better. As children get older, you can begin to give them more complicated color by number code sheets that are more difficult pictures and numbers.

  • If you are working with preschool students, kindergarten students, or younger, then color the bottom key on each age with the corresponding color. This will help them recognize the color they need to use more easily.
  • You can use all sorts of fun things to make these picture extra special. Feel free to add glitter of glitter glue, some stickers, puffy paint and any other fun you can think of. Watercolors would be a blast too!
