Pro Tips for the Best Handprint Pumpkin Craft

  • Don’t over-do it with the glue or it will take a long time for the tissue paper to dry! Make sure you allow plenty of time for it to dry too.
  • If you don’t have a white paper plate, you can cut a circle out of heavy white card stock instead. Then just decorate as instructed. Keep in mind that this might make your pumpkin a little more flimsy.
  • Making this with a large group? Cut the tissue paper paper ahead of time and give each child a bowl full of the little squares. You can also cut the brown stems ahead of time too.
