How to Make this Alien Craft

CREATE: Take the pipe cleaners you want to use and shape them. You can create curly-q’s or round shapes. These will be you antenna on your alien.
GLUE: Using your craft glue or hot glue, glue the pipe cleaners in place on your craft stick that you painted earlier.
CUT: Cut a mouth shape out of construction paper. You can make any shape! Oval, circle, open mouth, etc.
BUILD: Glue your scrubber sponge on top of the previously attached pipe cleaners. Then, glue the googly eyes and mouth on top of the sponge. Let the glue dry thoroughly before continuing with your alien craft for kids.

Kids Alien Craft

- On a work surface, use a brush and paint the wooden sticks
- Take the pipe cleaner and shape them the way you want them. You can roll it around your finger or a pencil to make round shapes.
- Glue the pipe cleaner on the wooden stick (you can also tape it with scotch tape).
- With the scissor, Cut the construction paper to make the mouth.
- On top of the pipe cleaner, glue the scrubber sponges. Follow with the googly eyes and the mouth.
- At this time, you will need to way for the glue to dry out before continuing with the project. For faster results, you can also use a glue gun.
