Educational materials can get monotonous and boring sometimes, so I love finding fun things that keep my kids engaged and focused. Whether your a mom looking for educational activities or a teacher needing some free printables for class, you’ll love these US President worksheets.

Each worksheet contains a fun drawing of each United State President and leaves space for them to write details about their lives. In a classroom setting, this could be a wonderful research project!

You could also read a book about a president and then have the worksheet to follow. This would be a fun activity in and outside of a classroom. Who HQ has a great set of three books that tell some history of the lives of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson. And I’m sure there are plenty of other great children’s books out there about presidents in our history.

These are wonderful President’s Day worksheets too! Celebrate American history and teach kid’s all about the presidents that have run our country. Education really can be fun, and cool worksheets like these are proof. They’d pair wonderfully with my States and Capitals worksheets too!

Supplies Needed

  • Writing utensils – Kids will need a pencil or pen to fill out the information on each of the presidents of the United States.
  • Coloring supplies – There are graphics of each president on the worksheets. So grab some coloring supplies and let the kids color them however they want!

What is Included in the Presidents Worksheets PDF

There are worksheets for every single president, from George Washington all the way to our current president Joe Biden. You little learners will have space to write down the birth dates and death dates of each president, their term in office, and what party they were affiliated with. There is also a section to write a few details about their early life and education.

Most significantly though, there is space in these US Presidents worksheets to write about each persons presidential achievements. When you are teaching lessons about significant historical events, you can assign the corresponding president worksheet for that event.

What is President’s Day?

President’s Day is a federally recognized holiday that celebrates all Presidents who have ever been in office. The holiday’s official date is technically on George Washington’s birthday. However, each year it is recognized on the 3rd Monday in February.

This holiday is a way to remember our nation’s leaders who took their place in the White House and lead our country! Teaching kids of all ages, from preschool through high school, about President’s Day is important. They can learn about each of our nation’s leaders and what they accomplished while in office.

Pro Tips for Completing the President Worksheets

  • Don’t be afraid to have some extra fun with these printable US President Worksheets. You can add stickers, use fun colors, and really make these worksheets unique.
  • If you have a classroom full of kids and need an easy project, give them each a different president and tell them that is the president they need to research. Then on presentation day, have them dress up like their president!
  • These would be great to display on the walls in a classroom. Encourage your students to color the presidents really well and then tell them it will be displayed! What kid doesn’t love to see their hard work on a wall?
