It’s quick and easy craft that can be assembled with things you can find around the house. It makes a great activity in the classroom for art, at Halloween parties or to keep the kids busy at home.

How to Make Popsicle Stick Frankenstein Craft

Make this cute, easy Halloween popsicle stick craft in just a few easy steps!

Draw the Frankenstein Face!

  1. Take the green craft stick and, with a black marker, give this guy some hair.
  2. Next, take a piece of silver glitter card stock and punch a few holes with your hole punch to use for the eyes. Using a glue stick, affix the eyes to the green craft stick. Press to secure.
  3. Once secure, use your black marker to make some pupils. With the same black marker, let’s freehand a nose and mouth!

Time to give Frankenstein his Tuxedo!

  1. Now, trace the bottom ¾ of the craft stick onto a piece of black construction paper. Cut a tiny slit at the top of the paper and fold each corner back to make a v-neck. Glue the corners back to make the collar of the shirt.
  2. Cut the bottom of the construction paper to leave room for the feet. Apply a thin layer of glue to the back of the construction paper and press it to secure it to the craft stick.
  3. Once the “clothes are secure, let’s add details. With a hole punch, make 3 small circles for the buttons of his shirt. Apply glue and secure the “buttons” to the front of the shirt.
  4. Using a marker, add detail by drawing lines to make the pants and collar stand out. Draw laces and outline his feet to make shoes.
  5. Lastly, cut about an inch of fuzzy black pipe cleaner and glue it to the back of Frankenstein’s “neck” to create the illusion of “bolts.”

Pro Tips!

  • You can precut any items beforehand to reduce time or make this activity easier. This helps when doing it with young kids, when you only have a set amount of time etc.
  • If you don’t have green popsicle stick feel free to paint regular popsicles sticks green or color them with markers!
