The kids are always asking for a snack! That’s why I love these homemade mixed berry Greek yogurt popsicles. Not only are they delicious, but they are healthy, too and have a little extra protein thanks to the yogurt.

These DIY popsicles are easy to make and you can change up the flavor easily by using different frozen berries or making it all the same berry for strawberry, raspberry, blueberry popsicles. The list could go on and on.

Ingredients Needed

  • Frozen berries – We always have frozen blueberries, strawberries and raspberries on hand.
  • Vanilla Greek yogurt – This is the yummiest flavor for a popsicle but you can also try fruit-flavored Greek yogurts if you want.
  • Water – Gives these homemade popsicles more of an icy texture, like a regular popsicle.

How to Make Homemade Popsicles

  • In a blender or food processor, puree the ingredients and spoon into the popsicle mold.
  • Cover and push popsicle sticks into mold.
  • Freeze overnight or until completely frozen.
  • To remove, dip the popsicle mold into warm water for 3 to 5 seconds before pushing the popsicles up from the bottom of the silicone mold.

Storage

If you end up with a few leftover mixed berry popsicles, remove them from the mold, wrap individually in plastic wrap and store in the freezer in a freezer bag.

Helpful Tips!

  • If you want them to be just one flavor and not mixed berry change all the berry measurements to one type of berry.
  • You can use either a food processor or a high powered blender to puree the ingredients, just make sure that your blender is high powered.
  • Instead of vanilla Greek yogurt that’s sweetened you can substitute plain Greek yogurt and sweeten it with your choice of sweetener and add a little vanilla extract.
  • If you can’t get popsicle molds in time to make these, pour the mixture into paper cups, place the popsicle stick into the middle and freeze. Kids can tear the cup off when they are ready to eat.
