Ugly Christmas Sweater Template
Cardstock – Red, Green, Blue etc.
Adornments – Stickers, Sequins, Gems, Markers, etc.
Twine
Glue Stick

Cut and Decorate

Begin by printing the Ugly Sweater template. We made prep so easy for you by giving you access to our free sweater template!

You have a few possibilities here. You can either print the template out on the colored cardstock or cut out the sweater template and trace it, then cut it out.

We used a mixture of green, blue and red cardstock for our sweaters.

Cut out each sweater that you traced or printed. You can even do this ahead of time if you are throwing a party and short on time.

You could also grab craft foam and cut that out for the sweaters!

Decorate the Sweaters!

Now, it’s time to decorate. We used stickers, sequins, gems, and markers.

If you have younger children grab a bunch of stickers and crayons to make it easy for them to participate.

We also cut a Christmas Tree out of green cardstock for one of the sweaters, too. Just have fun with it!

You can even cut little strips of paper and make the sweater striped.

The sky and your imagination is the limit.

We recommend heading to the dollar store and grabbing a few of the adornments.

Make it an Ornament!

That’s right, you can easily turn this cute craft into a holiday ornament.

Grab a piece of twine or ribbon and position a loop on the back and glue it. That’s it!
