Prep Card

The first thing you need to do is fold the blue cardstock in half to form a card.

You have the option of making this craft into a card for loved ones or keep the cardstock as a large piece of paper and hang this craft up for decorations!

How to Make a Heart Stamp

Now, form the toilet paper size cardboard rolls into heart shapes.

To do this, simply press down on one side of the roll. Do this all the way down the roll so that it forms completely. Then, pinch the bottom.

You should now have a heart shape.

It’s best to do one for each color. We tried to do a different color on each end. It was messy. We also tried to cut the rolls in half, but it worked better with a full roll.

Make sure to have one toilet paper roll for each color!

Paint the Hearts

Next, spread your paint on a flat surface. Red, pink, and purple are all great Valentine’s Day colors to use. We like to use a paper plate.

Dip the end of the cardboard roll completely in the paint. Then press on the upper part blue card or blue paper.

Continue making hearts with all the colors until the top half of the paper is covered.

Draw Balloon Lines

When your hearts are complete, use a black marker to draw lines from the hearts to the bottom of the card. We then formed a small bow, holding them all together.

Now your Balloon Heart Bouquet is finished!
