Glue the cat in the cat in the hat pieces onto the bag. Add detail to the cats bow and hat using a white chalk marker if desired. It’s just those little shadows on the bow tie!
Quick Tips!
If you are doing this with a group of younger kids you can prep everything by printing and cutting the template out before hand if you’d like.
Also, you can glue the card stock onto the paper bag ahead of time and have that ready to go.
Another option is to leave the paper bag plain and the cat will just have a brown body instead of black! Or, buy black paper bags if you can!
If you don’t have white cardstock you can use regular white printer paper but the puppet won’t be as sturdy or hold up as well.
