Supplies Needed
- Handprint Santa Template
- Cardstock – flesh color (tan/brown), red, white
- Pink marker
- Googly eyes, small
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- ⅝” circle punch (optional)
First Print Template
The first thing you want to do when you start this easy Santa Craft is to print the template. We recommend printing it on white cardstock, but white printer paper would work too.
Then cut out each piece on the template. The mustache, one circle, and the brim of the hat will remain white so you won’t have to do anything with them.
The hat itself and the other circle trace and cut out of red cardstock. A ⅝” paper punch can be used for the circles instead.
Trace & Cut Handprints
Now, we need to do is trace your little one’s handprints on white paper. Cut out the handprints.
Then, glue the handprints so the thumbs are overlapping in the center of a flesh colored sheet of cardstock.
We love that you can pick any flesh tone that you want for your Santa!
Decorate Santa’s Face
First, we will glue the mustache on the Santa. Position the mustache above the handprints, with just a touch of the cardstock showing in the middle and glue down.
Then, place a red circle nose above the mustache. After that color in a set of rosy cheeks with the pink marker.
Finally, give Santa some eyes by adhering the googly eyes.
Finish with Santa’s Hat!
Take the Santa hat that you traced and cut out of red cardstock and glue above the googly eyes.
Finish off the hat with the white circle on the end and the white brim.

There aren’t enough words to explain how much I’ve enjoyed sending these activities to my grandkids! Their Dad was not happy because of the “mess” they made doing some of the xmas craft ideas, but nonetheless, I’m certain that the grandkids enjoyed making them! 😍 Now there are more activities on their way for the grandkids to enjoy, but these activities involve puzzles and such, that won’t make too much of a “mess” as the xmas activities made.
So keep coming up with those crafting ideas! I love them so much and can’t wait for spring, summer, fall seasonal activities and crafts! 🧡💛
Wonderful to hear! Mess = Memories?! Right 🙂
