These little bites of gooey goodness only take 11 minutes to make, too. That’s great when I’ve got hungry kiddos waiting, because they won’t have to wait very long. These delicious bites of cinnamon roll in the air fryer and pancake bites are two of the best quick breakfast recipes.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- This kid-friendly recipe is great for breakfast and snack time. In fact, they’re so easy to make that your kiddos can make them all on their own. They’re a great on-the-go meal item too, so we can eat them in the car on busy mornings.
- You only need one ingredient to make cinnamon roll air fryer bites. It doesn’t get much more simple than that! You can keep cinnamon rolls in your fridge and then make this delicious recipe whenever you get a craving for them.
- Talk about easy cleanup! Just wash the knife used to cut the cinnamon rolls and the air fryer basket. That’s it!

Ingredients for Air Fryer Cinnamon Roll Bites
- Canned cinnamon rolls – I prefer to buy the name-brand Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, but you can use whichever kind you like best. Pillsbury even has different flavors and types of cinnamon rolls to try! You can also make homemade cinnamon rolls and then dice them up to use in this recipe. If you want to make extras of these bite sized little treats, then grab multiple cans of cinnamon rolls and keep them on hand.
Can I use homemade frosting?
Feel free to make your own frosting glaze. Use an electric mixer to mix together a powdered sugar vanilla icing, or even a cream cheese icing. It will take extra time, so be sure you account for that before you begin the recipe. You can also mix together some cinnamon sugar and shake the bites in that if you don’t want icing.
How to Make Air Fryer Cinnamon Roll Bites
- Spray the bottom of air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray and add the cinnamon roll quarters to the preheated basket.
- Cook the dough balls for 6 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked all the way through.
- Use tongs to remove the bites from the air fryer and then place them onto a serving plate. Warm the icing and drizzle it evenly over the bites.
- Serve immediately.

Storage and Reheating
Cinnamon roll bites are best eaten the same day they are made. And while I’m pretty sure you’ll breeze through a batch of these and there won’t be leftovers, you can store them if there are! For best results, store them without icing.
FRIDGE: Place leftover cinnamon roll bites into an airtight container or a zip-top plastic bag and store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
FREEZER: Transfer fully cooled leftovers to an airtight container or freezer bag and store for up to 3 months. The texture may change a bit after being frozen and reheated.
Reheat easily in the air fryer at about 325 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes. Of course you don’t need to reheat them but there is just something about a warm cinnamon roll bite that tastes so good!
Pro Tips
- Want more golden color and a bit of extra flavor? Brush a tablespoon of melted butter over each of the bites before air frying. It almost adds that “from scratch” flavor to them. It’s crazy what a tablespoon of butter can do!
- Don’t place the cinnamon roll bites too closely together in the air fryer. There needs to be enough space between them so that the hot air can circulate and cook them evenly.
- It is important that you grease the bottom of the air fryer basket well so the cinnamon rolls don’t stick.

I hope you and your family enjoy every sweet bite of this deliciously easy recipe. If you love it, then check out my recipe for gooey brownie bites. There’s nothing like a bite sized treat!
