Ingredients for Christmas Brownie Pops

  • Brownie Mix – Any boxed brownie mix will work, so choose your favorite!
  • Oil – Check the back of your brownie box for what oil they recommend you to use. I generally use vegetable oil, but you could use canola or olive oil.
  • Holiday Sprinkles – You can find these on the baking aisle of your local grocery store. They may also be on the seasonal holiday aisles too!
  • Eggs – Check the back of your brownie box to see how many eggs you’ll need.
  • White Melting Chocolate – I love white chocolate for these brownie pops, but if you prefer milk chocolate or dark chocolate you could use that too!
  • Water – The back of your brownie box will list the quantity needed for this too.
  • Popsicle Sticks – You can’t have a brownie pop without a popsicle stick! You can find these at your local hobby store or on the craft aisle at your grocery store.

How To Make Brownie Pops

PREP: Line an 8×8 baking dish with aluminum foil and spray it with cooking spray, then set it aside.

MIX: In a large mixing bowl, prepare the brownies by following the instructions on the back of the brownie box.

BAKE: Pour the brownie mix into the dish lined with aluminum foil, and bake according to the instructions on the box.

COOL: After the brownies have fully baked, allow them to cool for 10 minutes and then place them in the freezer for 45-60 minutes.

CUT: After the brownies are fully chilled, remove them from the baking dish and take off the aluminum foil. Place the block of brownies onto a cutting board covered in parchment paper and cut them into 16 equal squares.

MELT: Place your melting chocolate into a mixing bowl and melt over a pot of boiling water, continuously stirring the chocolate so that it doesn’t burn.

DIP: Working quickly, dip the corner of each brownie in the white chocolate and place back onto the parchment paper.

DECORATE: Before the chocolate sets, add holiday sprinkles onto the white chocolate covered corner of your brownie pop. Add a popsicle stick to the bottom and let the sit until the chocolate hardens. Pop them in the fridge for the chocolate to set faster.

Storage Tips for Christmas Brownie Pops

Store this fun Christmas dessert in an airtight container at room temp for a few days or in the refrigerator for about a week.

Pro-Tips for the Best Christmas Brownie Pops

  • When dipping your brownies into the chocolate, hold them with your hand instead of dipping them by holding the popsicle stick.
  • After you dip each brownie in the white chocolate, be sure to add sprinkles quickly. Don’t wait until after you’ve dipped every brownie to add the sprinkles because the chocolate will have set on the first ones your dipped and the sprinkles won’t stick.
  • As you dip, the white chocolate will get little pieces of brownie in it. The sprinkles will cover those specks, but if you prefer no sprinkles then use a spoon to put white chocolate on your brownie pieces.
