Instructions

  • Make the graham crackers for our s’mores using a recycled cardboard box. Cut two 3 x 3-inch squares out of the cardboard box using your scissors.
  • Using a ruler as a guide, draw a straight line down the center of each square. Finally, add sporadic dots to finish the graham cracker look. Set aside the “graham crackers.”
  • Time to prepare our chocolate! Take a sheet of brown craft foam and cut it into two 4 x 4-inch squares. Set the “chocolate” aside.
  • Now let’s assemble our s’mores! Take one of your previously made crackers and coat the backside using a glue stick.
  • Place 6 cotton balls onto the glue and press to secure. Grab your chocolate square and add a generous amount of glue to one side. Center and press it on top of the cotton balls.
  • Add glue to the remaining side of the chocolate and press the remaining 6 cotton balls to the chocolate. Lastly, add glue to the backside of another cracker and secure it to the cotton balls. Press your entire creation together like a sandwich to ensure it is secure.
  • It’s time to bring your s’mores to life! Affix 2 googly eyes and draw a cute smile on the front of the cracker to add some character.
  • Lastly, glue a wooden craft stick to the back of the s’more to give it some added movement.
  • Allow your s’mores to dry for at least 5 minutes.
