Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups chocolate chips of your choice I used semi-sweet, divided
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 4 graham crackers broken into small pieces

Instructions

  • Line a small baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Add the chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate (except about 2-3 tablespoons) onto the prepared baking sheet and smooth out towards the edges, but don't spread it too thin or the bark will be flimsy.
  • Immediately add the miniature marshmallows and graham cracker pieces and lightly press them into the melted chocolate.
  • Take the remaining 2-3 tablespoons of melted chocolate and drizzle it over the top of the marshmallows and graham crackers.
  • Place the tray in the refrigerator to chill for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the tray from the refrigerator and break the hardened chocolate pieces into large chunks.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO STORE CHOCOLATE BARK?
For best results, store it in the refrigerator – it will keep for a week!
I haven’t tried freezing this recipe. Normally chocolate bark freezes well, but since this one has graham crackers they might soften once you thaw the bark at room temperature. So, you might want to skip the freezer with this one!
RECIPE TIPS
  • I think it’s easiest to break the crackers into small pieces, but you can also use crushed graham crackers and sprinkle them over the top.
  • When you spread the melted chocolate on the sheet pan, be careful to not spread it too thin. Otherwise, your chocolate bark will be flimsy. It helps to use a small baking sheet!
  • Feel free to add some sprinkles to dress it up! This is a fun thing to do for holidays.
  • If you like a salty-sweet combo you can use some chopped pretzels in place of some of the graham crackers for a twist.
