6ounceswhite candy meltsabout 1 cup, melted according to package directions
6ouncesred candy meltsabout 1 cup, melted according to package directions
6ouncesroyal blue candy meltsabout 1 cup, melted according to package directions
¼cupmini pretzels
¼cupmini marshmallows
1Tablespoon4th of July sprinkles
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper with a little bit of overhang to lift the bark out of the pan when done.
Scoop or pour the melted red candy melts in medium-sized circles around the pan.
Repeat this with the blue candy melts, so the colors are evenly dispersed.
Repeat with the white candy melts, filling in any empty spaces.
Using a rubber spatula, swirl the colors together. Do not mix them completely because you will end up with a brown color. You want there to be visible swirls of each color.
Spread the pretzels and marshmallows out evenly across the bark. Sprinkle the 4th of July sprinkles.
After the bark has completely set (it will be hard and less shiny than before), lift the parchment paper out of the baking sheet. Using your hands, break up the bark into big and small pieces.
It is now ready to serve. It can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. The marshmallows may dry out slightly.
Notes
Swirling the colors together, decorating with the toppings, and breaking up the bark are all great activities for kids to help out with.
