Begin by tracing handprints on brown cardstock. You will need at least 4 handprints for this craft.

Cut out all the handprints.

Glue the handprints to the top, flap part of the paper bag to resemble tree branches.

Now, punch a bunch of hearts using a heart paper punch out of red, pink, and purple cardstock.

Glue the hearts all over the handprints to act like the leaves of the tree. Continue gluing the hearts until you feel your heart tree is complete.

Finally, trim the edges of the body of the bag to create more curved lines resembling a tree trunk. That completes this super sweet and so very easy Valentine’s Day craft for kids!
