Line a baking sheet with a piece of parchment or waxed paper to prevent sticking. Set aside.
Slice bananas into bite size pieces, about ½’’ each.
Place banana slices in a single layer flat on the covered baking sheet, without touching. Freeze for at least 30 minutes.
Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high in 30-seconds increments, stirring between each, until melted. Or, melt it on the stovetop in a double boiler.
Place a piece of banana on a fork, so it’s resting on the tines. Then dip it into the chocolate. Lift it out and let any excess chocolate drain through the fork tines.
Place chocolate dipped banana back on the baking sheet. Repeat until all bananas are dipped.
If you would like toppings on the bananas, sprinkle them on before the chocolate dries.
Freeze dipped banana slices for at least 30 minutes. Enjoy frozen!
