Begin by painting a paper plate yellow. We used the bottom of the plate so our bee had a more bubble kind of shape. Let the paint dry completely.
While the paint is drying, cut thin strips from black cardstock.
Now, when the paint is completely dry, begin gluing the black strips across the yellow plate. Leave one strip.
Next, adhere eyes towards the top of the plate. Also, use a black pen or marker to draw a small, simple mouth.
Fold the remaining black strip in a V shape and glue at the top of the plate.
Then, trace and cut handprints from a light blue cardstock. You could also use light purple, or even white.
Finally, glue the handprints to the sides of the plate to complete this adorable and easy handprint bee craft!
