  • Prepare the base by cutting a piece of twine about 16 inches long. Tie the twine to each end of the stick to create a loop for hanging.
  • Cut multiple pieces of string to a length of 12–18 inches each, adjusting based on how long you want your sun catcher to be.
  • Thread the beads onto each string using the plastic needle. Leave a small section of string at the top for tying.
  • Securely tie the ends of the bead-strung strings to the stick, spacing them evenly across the stick. Ensure the knots are tight so the strings don’t slip.
  • Once you have attached the strings, trim off the extra thread and place the sun catcher where it will catch plenty of sunlight, such as a bright window or an outdoor space.
