Instructions

  • Let’s start by gathering all the items for our gift basket!
  • Next, roll your beach towel and cut a ribbon long enough to tie a decorative bow around the towel. Place the towel in the gift basket.
  • Add tissue paper to the bottom of the basket. Fill the glass with gumballs or treats of your choice! Place the snacks and gifts in the basket. Arrange the larger items in the back and the smaller ones in front for better presentation.
  • Once all the items are in the basket, let’s make our gift tag. Cut a piece of card stock into a 2 ½-inch x 4-inch rectangle. Place the rectangle vertically and cut off the top 2 corners forming a gift tag shape. Cut the printable template and glue it to the tag. Decorate the tag with colored pencils. Punch a hole in the top of the tag. Cut a 10-inch piece of ribbon and attach the tag to the gift basket.
  • Now your gift basket is ready to bring a smile to your favorite teacher’s face!

Notes

  • Gift baskets can be pricey, but we found many gift items and treats at our local Dollar Tree to keep costs down.
  • Adding a gift card to this basket would be an extra special treat for your favorite teacher!
