Croffles

¼ cup raw sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 8-ounce tube crescent roll dough Whipped topping Strawberries or other fresh fruit

Warm up your waffle iron to medium heat, according to the manufacturer's directions.

In a small mixing bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside.

Unroll crescent roll dough and carefully tear it apart along the perforated triangles.

Roll your triangles from the larger end until the crescent is completed; do this for all eight pieces.

Press the crescent rolls into the sugar mixture until they are thoroughly covered.

Lightly spray the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and set 2-4 crescent rolls inside, depending on the size of your waffle iron, and close.

Cook until the outside is medium brown, about 2-3 minutes for most models.

Serve warm with optional whipped topping and strawberries.
