Begin by painting a toilet paper size cardboard roll in the Valentine’s Day color of your choice. We chose red and purple for our rockets. Let the paint dry completely.

While the paint is drying, print the template and cut out the triangle. Trace the triangle on the cardstock color of your choice for the rocket fins. We chose orange.

Cut 4 paper streamers, two in red and two in purple.

Glue the streamers to the middle of the triangle.

Now, when the paint on the cardboard roll is completely dry, cut two slits on either side on the bottom.

Insert the triangle into the slits, point first.

Lastly, cut and trace the hearts from the cardstock color of choice. Or, use a heart paper punch like we did.

Glue the hearts to the front of the rocket. You could draw a design on the rocket with a white paint pen or use stickers instead, too.

To hang your streamer, make two holes at the top of the rocket and tie twine into a loop.
