Homemade Slushies

Quick and easy homemade slushies with only 3 ingredients! The perfect treat to cool you off on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces club soda (1 bottle) preferably cold
  • cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon drink mix powder like Kool-Aid
  • 4 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine club soda, sugar, drink mix and ice cubes. 
  • Blend for 30 seconds, stir if needed and blend another 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. You may need to pulse the blender if it’s too thick.

Notes

Homemade slushies are best enjoyed right out of the blender but if you happen to have a little extra leftover, freeze it in ice cube trays and then blend again to enjoy another time!
