Ingredients

  • 3.9 ounces instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 8 ounces cool whip
  • 1 oreo pie crust
  • 8 Oreos
  • 12 Gummy worms

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the pudding mix and milk until it starts to thicken. Fold in the cool whip to the pudding.
  • Add the pudding mixture into the crust and smooth the top, so it's flat.
  • Place the Oreos into your food processor and pulse until they are a fine crumb. Sprinkle the Oreo crumbs over the top of the pie.
  • Top the pie with some of the gummy worms.
  • Place the pie in the fridge for 1 hour to set.

Notes

CAN YOU USE WHIPPED CREAM INSTEAD OF COOL WHIP?
Yes, you can use the same amount of whipped cream for this recipe.
CAN YOU MAKE IT AHEAD?
Yes, you can make the crust and filling up to a day in advance. I recommend waiting to add the crushed cookies and gummy candy until you’re ready to serve it. That way the cookie crumb topping won’t soften in the fridge.
CAN YOU USE THIS RECIPE TO MAKE DIRT PIE PUDDING CUPS?
If you don’t want a whole pie and want to make dirt cups instead, you can adjust this recipe.
You don’t need to make the Oreo crust. Instead, spoon the chocolate pudding into small plastic cups. Sprinkle crushed Oreos over the top and add a gummy worm or two for decoration.
