Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 3 minutes
Servings: 8 Croffles

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 8-ounce tube crescent roll dough
  • Whipped topping
  • Strawberries or other fresh fruit

Instructions

  • Warm up your waffle iron to medium heat, according to the manufacturer's directions.
  • In a small mixing bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
  • Unroll your crescent roll dough and carefully tear it apart along the perforated triangles.
  • Roll your triangles from the larger end until the crescent is completed; do this for all eight pieces. Set aside on a small cookie sheet or plate.
  • Gather your bowl with the sugar mixture and press the crescent rolls into the sugar mixture until they are thoroughly covered. Then, set it back to the cookie sheet or plate.
  • When completing all eight rolls, return to your preheated waffle iron.
  • Lightly spray the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and set 2-4 crescent rolls inside, depending on the size of your waffle iron, and close. The croffles will spread slightly, so give them a little space to do so.
  • Cook until the outside is medium brown, about 2-3 minutes for most models.
9.Repeat this process until all rolls are done.
  • Place on a serving dish of your choice, and serve warm with optional whipped topping and strawberries.
