Glue the pom pom nose on the point of the pinecone. We used a red pom pom for Rudolph but you can use a black one to make a reindeer.

Glue the googly eyes toward the center back of the pine cone.

Cut out a set of ears using the brown construction paper.

Cut one pipe cleaner in half, then cut two pieces from one half. Bend the uncut pipe cleaner in half to form a V shape.

Use these two smaller pieces to wrap around the top of the deer’s antlers. Twist until the pipe cleaner is secure.

Insert the V shaped pipe cleaner antlers from the bottom on the back side of the pine cone. Wrap it around at the top, twist, and spread out the pipe cleaner.

Apply glue to the ears and insert the ears towards the back of the pine cone.

Display your deer! If desired, add a string to the pine cone and make an ornament for the Christmas tree!
