Rudolph Pinecone Craft

Quick and easy holiday craft idea for kids! Grab a pinecone and create this Rudolph Pinecone craft.

Instructions

  • Glue the pom pom nose on the point of the pinecone. We used a red pom pom for Rudolph but you can use a black one to make a reindeer.
  • Glue the googly eyes toward the center back of the pine cone.
  • Cut out a set of ears using the brown construction paper.
  • Cut one pipe cleaner in half, then cut two pieces from one half. Bend the uncut pipe cleaner in half to form a V shape.
  • Use these two smaller pieces to wrap around the top of the deer’s antlers. Twist until the pipe cleaner is secure.
  • Insert the V shaped pipe cleaner antlers from the bottom on the back side of the pine cone. Wrap it around at the top, twist, and spread out the pipe cleaner.
  • Apply glue to the ears and insert the ears towards the back of the pine cone.
  • Display your deer! If desired, add a string to the pine cone and make an ornament for the Christmas tree!
