Move the oven rack to the middle position, Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, canola oil, and applesauce until no streaks of flour remain.
Stir in sprinkles until just combined.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 7-9 minutes or until set. Allow the cookies to cool for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
