Clothespin Advent Wreath Supplies

Supplies Needed

The first step to straight the coat hanger out if you are using that. Then twist the wire into a circular shape to form the wreath.

Thread the wire through the spring of each clothespin and cup of each jingle bell, creating a pattern. We did a red and green clothespin and then a bell for our pattern, but you can do whatever pattern you’d like! The goal is to end up with about 24 clothespins for your countdown.

When the pattern is complete, twist the wire together to secure it into a wreath shape.

On the back of the wreath, use a small amount of hot glue to secure the clothespins and bells so they do not spin around the wire.

When the glue is dry, flip the wreath over. Tie the ribbon into a bow and attach to the wreath at the top where the wire is twisted together with hot glue.

Place a small treat on each clothespin.

Each day, remove the treat to countdown to Christmas.
